Description
Large early Victorian French black and white enamel silver ribbon locket set with turquoise
Circa 1880, with typical black enamel decorated with a white dot. It is set with small diamonds (tested), natural turquoise, and gold leaves. It is topped with a bow. It has a hinged locket on the back. It has a boar’s head mark which denotes French silver of minimum 800 fineness. Measures approximately 5.3 x 3 cm. It is in good antique condition although with minor loss to the enamel on one end of the bow.
